Tentative Itinerary

The 31st Annual Bag Lady Bus Tour will kick off PROMPTLY at 7pm at Greg's. Registration will begin at 5pm, and all riders should plan on being there early so that everyone is not registering at the very end.

Additionally, ALL Bus Tour riders are encouraged to raise as much money as possible (prior to the night of the Bus Tour). The primary focus of the Bus Tour is to raise money for the DEFA (Direct Emergency Financial Assistance) Fund for those living with HIV/AIDS. Last year, the Bus Tour donated almost $12,000. The goal for 2011 is $15,000. ALL expenses have already been paid through generous sponsor donations. Sponsors include: 45 Degrees, Aveda Wildflower (Greenwood), Brad Plunkett & Andy Gilliland. Donations can be made by VISA, MasterCard, cash or check (payable to Indy Pride). Indy Pride is a 501(c)3 organization. Donation pledge cards are available. Bag Lady Queen

Expectations:

* Promote the legacy of the organization
* Dress and participate in fund raising efforts
* Organize and promote one benefit during “her” resign
* Dress & ride in the Cadillac Barbie Pride Parade

Selection Process:

30% for raising money during the Bag Lady Bus Tour season (September 13 – October 22)
30% for scores achieved during the Bag Lady Queen Pageant - October 23
40% for scores from the former Queens when they vote on the night of the bus tour
